Opening Question: Can you share a light bulb moment that you have had that was humbling?

(Ie… you weren’t the best player on the team, your cookies aren’t that good, your team is not that good, you fish wasn’t that big)

 

1. What stood out to you in the sermon?

 

2. What are some things that people are so ashamed of that it keeps them from coming to Christ?

 

3. What are some things people are willing to sacrifice to stay in the dark? 

 

4. How do we sometimes try to be the source of our own salvation? 

 

5. How do we practically respond when the Holy Spirit reveals darkness still in our hearts?

 

6. Take time to pray and ask if there are any family members or friends that are in darkness that we can pray be brought into the light?
